How to add product category in Magento 1.X.X?
To add category in Magento 1.X.X,
1. Login to your Magento Admin.
2. Go to Catalog on the top navigation menu and select Manage Category from the dropdown.
3. In the next page, enter your category name and select 'yes' of Is Active. Other details are optional.
4. Click Save Category.
Your product category has been added.
