Installation Requirements: PrestaShop, Magento 1.X, Magento 2.X, Shopify, WooCommerce

Installation Requirements: PrestaShop, Magento 1.X, Magento 2.X, Shopify, WooCommerce

Under most circumstances, installing inkXE is a very simple process and takes less than 15 minutes to complete. 

Things to Know Before Installing inkXE:
  • Access to your web server (via FTP or shell)
  • FTP Client
  • Access to Databases in your server (via CPanel or Plesk)

PrestaShop

Download inkXE:
Download the latest installation package from license-portal.

Extract the Contents:
Extract the content of the installation package. You will see a folder ‘xetool’ as the content of the installation package.

Upload to Server:
Upload ‘xetool’ to the location where you have installed PrestaShop. 
You may use your cPanel/Plesk (File Manager) or use FTP/SFTP client to upload.

Example: http://yoursite.com/
If you have Prestashop installed in the root directory of your host.
http://yoursite.com/xetool/

Example: http://yoursite.com/store/
If you have Prestashop installed in a sub-directory of your host.
http://yoursite.com/store/xetool/ 

Create Database for inkXE:
Create a MySQLi database and assign a user to this newly created database. Remember the database details, since you will need them during the installation. We suggest to create a separate database for inkXE.




Magento 1.X

Download inkXE:
Download the latest installation package from license-portal.

Extract the Contents:
Extract the content of the installation package. You will see a folder ‘xetool’ as the content of the installation package.

Upload to Server:
Upload ‘xetool’ to the location where you have installed Magento. 
You may use your cPanel/Plesk (File Manager) or use FTP/SFTP client to upload.

Example: http://yoursite.com/
If you have Magento installed in the root directory of your host.
http://yoursite.com/xetool/

Example: http://yoursite.com/store/
If you have Magento installed in a sub-directory of your host.
http://yoursite.com/store/xetool/

Shopify

You may use your cPanel/Plesk (File Manager) or use FTP/SFTP client to upload.

Example: https://yoursite.com/
If you have pointed your myshopify.com domain to https://yoursite.com and https://design.yoursite.com is the subdomain where inkXE will be installed.
https://design.yoursite.com/xetool/

Example: http://yoursite.com/store/
If https://design.yoursite.com is the subdomain where inkXE will be installed in one of it's sub-directory.
https://design.yoursite.com/store/xetool/

WooCommerce

If you have Woocommerce installed in the root directory of your host.
http://yoursite.com/xetool/

Example: http://yoursite.com/store/
If you have Woocommerce installed in a sub-directory of your host.
http://yoursite.com/store/xetool/
