How to integrate Instagram application with inkXE designer tool?


NOTE: Before proceeding, you must have a registered Instagram's client ID. If not, follow the article at https://support.inkxe.com/portal/kb/articles/how-to-create-instagram-client-id

 
To setup Instagram with inkXE designer tool,

 1. Go to https://www.instagram.com/developer/ from any browser.
2. Log in using your registered credentials.
3. You will see a "Hello Developers" page. Tap Register Your Application.
4. A new page will open. Inside the box under Manage Clients, tap Manage.
5. The client page will open. Locate and click Permissions. 
6. Under permissions, tap Start a Submission.
7. In the new page of Permission Review, click on the 7th point of Question 1.
    • My app allows people to login with Instagram and share their own content.
8. Other questions will appear. Scroll down to Question 3 and take the following actions:
  • In API use case, enter a description briefly explaining all parts of your integrations
  • In Video Screencast URL, enter the url of the video tutorial

TIP: The video screencast must clearly show how your application works

 9. Scroll down and click Submit. 
10. Wait for the "Submission Successful" message to appear. Once accepted, your submission will be saved for revision. 


NOTE: It takes 2-3 days for Instagram to process your request. 

 
You have integrated Instagram with your designer tool. Now, any user can import images from their Instagram account by simply logging in. 

NOTE: If your submission is rejected, please read the guidelines properly (https://www.instagram.com/developer/review/) and follow the same steps once again.
