How to generate Shopify API information for inkXE designer tool?

During inkXE installation step-2, the page will ask you for SHOPIFY SHOP, API PASSWORD, API KEY and SHARED SECRET to proceed further.

For Shopify Shop, enter your store name. For example, If your store admin URL is https://example.myshopify.com/admin, then SHOPIFY SHOP will be 'example'.



1. Open Shopify Admin.
2. Select Apps that appears in the sidebar on the left.
3. On the Apps page, click Private Apps, which appears in the top right corner.

4. Click Create Private App appearing below this message.

5. A new page will appear where you need to enter the 'Title' for the private app and 'Contact Email' and set all Permissions to 'Read and write'.
Note: Some permission may not have the ‘write’ option’; set those to ‘read’.
6. Click  "Save App" located at the top right corner of the page.

7. Details of credentials will be available in the next page. The credentials can then be used in the second step of inkXE installation.
